Not necessarily. ME budgets are pretty tight. A kid who's
know to be fatally allergic to dairy, eats a grilled cheese
sandwich and dies isn't very high up the list. They're going
to spend the money on corpses where there's something to be
learned from an autopsy.

My brother-in-law died in his sleep at age 54 in Thibodaux, LA.
They didn't do a full autopsy, just analyzed his blood and said,
"Looks like a heart attack".

The aftermarket autopsy might come in handy during the legal
proceedings.
