Believe it or not, I used to buy small chicken livers in small tubs and
fry them for my husband. They were cheap back in 1982. (Yes, folks,
way back at the beginning of time I was married.) I rinsed the chicken
livers, tossed them in seasoned flour, pan fried them. I don't remember
what (if anything) I made to go with them. I never had any desire to
taste them.
I didn't grow up eating this sort of thing. My parents did love calves
liver sauteed with onions but they didn't make us eat it as kids. They
did not cook chicken livers.
I won't cook or eat either one.
