It's a numerically rougher scale.
Consider - 33 deg. C is a HOT day in Canuckland - 91.4 deg. F!
But O deg. C sounds a LOT colder than 32 deg. F.
Fahrenheit is a more expressive way of portraying temperature.
Kelvin would just be whack-o!
