The last time I made fondue was on New Year's Eve, 1999. Remember Y2K?
I had to be at work at 6AM the next morning so a representative in each
of our offices around the country could call and confirm the servers
were still working. (Of course they were.) The company provided a nice
little catered spread on New Year's Day including mini quiches, meat &
cheese platters and even champagne.
