I had a couple of those on my laptop last week. I was trying to shut
down one night and it decided it was going to update and shut off.... do
not turn computer off. I was upstairs watching TV and the wifi signal
is a little weaker there so I brought it downstairs and sat it on the
table by my desk top. After it had run for about an hour it had achieved
all of 3% of the update. The next time I booted up it had to complete
the update. A few days later I had to take my car to the dealership for
some work and brought my laptop along to keep my occupied. I had not
even had a chance to log on to their wifi when it started another
update. That one took about 15 minutes. I would hate to be using one
for something important at work and to have it start an update.
