Dred locks are NOT braided at all. The strands of hair are rubbed together
until they form those awful looking dull and dry 'strands.' They will
rub this tangled mess several times during the day. Once this look has
been achieved the only way to wash this disgusting pile is to squeeze
shampoo through it and rinse the best they can.
