I do know of one person that smokes and was able to stop a couple of
prescription drugs, but, I'm sure many abuse the ability to get it.

I don't think it is a gateway drug, but I do think some people have
gateway personalities and addictive tendencies. If not marijuana, it
would be something else. Sad to see how much drug use exists and the
problems of overdose.
