That's true. Some Japanese compete even that contest.

That said, Jill was wrong about this contest not being
representative of the US. This particular contest is all USA.
Held each year on the 4th of July at Coney Island in NYC. Doesn't
get any more USA than that.

No need to diss it though. It's pure entertainment, no
educational value.

Still, I would NEVER believe that someone could eat 74 hotdogs
and buns in only 10 minutes. That's insane. I doubt I could even
eat 8 dogs and buns in an hour. 74 in 10 minutes? Seeing is
believing.
