It is a pressure cooker. Only difference is they got everything
figured out for you.

You're right, but it does differ in one way You can also brown the meat in it before cooking, which is an advantage to me.

I like that it has it all figured out, but you can also go rogue and adjust the timing for different recipes or meats.
