It could be a slight sensitivity or allergy to the plastic polymers used
in the liner bags.

You shouldn't use them until you get a skin test from a specialist
Physician. You could die of prophylactic shock.

Tell him to test for all known plastic polymers ... there are hundreds
.... and they can all kill you.

And have him test the gardener's rubbers too.
