No roast is better than a fresh ham, only for Thanksgiving turkey is
traditional... but for Christmas or New Years I do a fresh ham,
usually a butt half, we no longer have company on holidays. Kids have
their own friends and it's too far to visit here. These days it's
better to visit via PC and phone. And we enjoy our solitude with our
cats and outside critters, and not having to travel through inclement
weather. Right now it's snowing here.
