I think what rose, was the lifestyle and spending expectations of
younger generations. They want lots of clothes, gadgets, meals out, a
car, entertainment, beauty products, expensive phones, credit cards,
and they can't imagine sacrificing any of that to scrimp and save for a
deposit, service a mortgage etc.
