I like the idea of paying dues to belong to a club, it keeps the riff
raff out, it's like living in a high property tax area. Club stores
have far less shop lifting, that keeps prices down. Where I live we
have five acre zoning, can't build on less than a five acre lot
although most lots here are more than 20 acres, several are over 50
acres and more. This is better than a gated community. The
properties are large enough that anyone who doesn't belong is readily
spotted... in farming communities people who don't belong don't
linger, they know they can get shot and disappear without a trace....
dropped into a twenty foot deep pond the carp and snapping turtles
will make quick work of them, including their bones.
