Unfortunately, freezing beans doesn't help much at all unless you can
freeze at some insanely low temperature (I can't recall the
temperature but it's way below the capabilities of domestic and even
commercial refrigeration. Beans can also absorb smells and flavours
from other foods stored in the freezer.

The main things is to keep beans away from light, oxygen and moisture
in an *airtight* container at room temperature (for us mere mortals).
