Thanks for the reply Steve, but one of my three smokers is WSM. I
used the NBBD for a couple of years before I got the Weber and believe
it or not, there are some times when I don't want to use Weber.

With all its faults, sometimes I miss the hands on tending required to
get good results with the NBBD. It may be more primitive, but I've
gotten some really good results with it in the past. Besides, it does
have the advantage of cooking a large amount of meat without having to
remove the top tier to futz with the stuff on the bottom.

I prefer to think that they can complement each other.
