Bland steaks, especially filet - how do I fix?

Oh come on, Sheldon. I suspect if the OP was referring to Halibut steaks or
Tuna steaks or Swordfish steaks he/she would have specified fish steaks.
Everyone else figured out the OP was talking about beef steaks.
