I can't say what the status is of federal recognition of Hawaiians as native
Americans. What they really want is recognition of the Kingdom of Hawaii.
Well some native Hawaiians do anyway. Other Hawaiians recognize that you
cannot really regain the past and will seek a more practical approach to
move into the future. There must have been a resolution or a hold on the
protests since I haven't anything about it it.

Thanks. Just a point ... are they wanting another King/Queen? I
assume they would need that in order to be a Kingdom.
