My daughter did those hikes. My guess is that in a few years, she'll have a hard time believing she had the gumption to do it. The Haiku stairs do have railings but your heart still has to be able to get up that hill without exploding. This guy didn't get back down alive. OTOH, he was kind of an old fart.
