A Brillo Pad or two does wonders for *light* rust and old seasoning on
black iron. Emery cloth takes off heavier rust. A half-hour's work on
any standard black iron pan is more than enough. Then re-season which
ain't difficult. I suppose one could *refurbish* with a sandblaster,
but that seems excessive.
