At Durant's, a local steak institution, I really love the following for
my birthday...
Shrimp Cocktail
Beefsteak Tomato and Onion Salad with Russian Dressing
Mesquite-Grilled Ribeye or Veal Chop
Creamed Spinach
Potatos Anna
New York Style Cheesecake
No home-cooked birthday dinner for me. My partner doesn't cook anything
beyond lasagna, and I'll be damned if I'm going to cook it for myself.
