It should be pretty easy to cook something up since it's pretty much a fresh, non-cured, non-dried, sausage. I would add some garlic, fennel, Italian seasoning, parsley, some sugar, and a little balsamic. I would whip some up right now except that I don't have any fennel. Fennel is pretty much the main flavor component. I might leave out the garlic or add a token amount.
