We take some of that excess milk, make cheese, then pay to store it in
warehouses. Not sure where that stands now since Reagan gave away tons
of it. The whole system stinks though.

We also have dairy farmers that have been in the business for
generations and feel entitled even if there is less demand for their
product. I guess they like the government subsidies.
