For lunch I had chicken soup with cream of wheat dumplings. There were a few slices of parsnip in there which I found were too sweet. But the soup and dumplings were nice. My friend made them with cream of wheat, eggs, and some baking soda. They are very delicate and when they are put into the broth/stock(sigh)the simmer must be very gentle.
