I went to a hole in the wall Korean joint. They had a Korean buffet. We used to eat there all the time when we lived across the way. Mostly, the food is just so-so. OTOH, I ordered a Kalbi and butterfish from the regular menu.. The dish looked completely out of place in that joint and I mean it in a good way. Just looking at the plate, I could tell the chef was reaching high and probably felt trapped being there. I made sure to express to him how much I enjoyed his food because I know how it is to be trapped in a cage.
