A lot of other stores have similar record keeping. I had to return a
magazine to Bass Pro Shop because it was the wrong size. I wanted a
spare .22 mag for my Ruger and accidentally picked up .22 magnum. I
didn't realize my error until I went to use it a couple months later and
I had trashed the receipt. Thanks to their loyalty card the clerk was
able to track my purchase and they gladly refunded my money.
