Oddly enough, Hawaiian food is probably best when eaten in a tropical or warm climate. Why is that? I don't know.

It's tough to say if those guys were the real deal. I could tell in a couple of seconds but I'd have to see the food in question in person. Back in the 70's we spotted a Hawaiian BBQ joint in a strip mall in California. Well that's what it said on the window anyway. As it goes, it was really a Korean restaurant. Ha ha. Nobody knew what Korean food was back in those days - including me. My wife felt right at home though. That must have confused the staff to see a white girl ordering the food and the Asian dude acting all clueless.
