I don't normally like boiled sweet potatoes either, but last year we
were in a restaurant and my wife had their sweet potato soup. I tried
some and it was good enough that I searched out a recipe and made some.
I added some curry to it and it was delicious. It was way better than I
would have expected from sweet potatoes.
