I made chicken and dumplings. I did a couple of things that I have never
done before. I added some €śBetter than Bouillon€ť to the boiled chicken
broth. Then I opened a box of Bisquick and made drop dumplings.
For the first time since I started making chicken and dumplings, a long
time ago, it didnt taste quite right. The stew was not particularly
pleasant, and the dumplings were kind of doughy.
Im not sure whether the chicken BtB was part of the problem, but my wife
notified me that the, never-once opened, Bisquick was best used by July,
2017. I need to learn to rotate food stuffs better.
