A few years ago I went through a period of time where I was experience
severe leg cramps. It was enough of a problem that I went to the doctor
about it. He gave me a prescription for quinine. I took it for a while,
despite the sticker on the label that said that quinine is not effective
against leg cramps. It didn't seem to help so I quit taking it. After a
while I stopped taking it. At the time I was eating at least one banana
a day, like I always did before and like I still do.
