Glad to hear it will be covered under warranty. My Maytag instruction book says
that when a pan is too large for the burner, it reflects the heat down and that
the additional heat reflecting on the glass can cause cracking. Anyway, I've
had my glass top for 10 years without problems but I've been careful not to use
too large a pan nor have I ever tried putting a roaster across two burners.
