I agree. I've tried many varities of jarred spaghetti sauce.
Every single one is a fail to just add it plain to pasta and
call it a meal.
Many can be used as a starting point though and then enhanced
to a decent sauce. Adding meat is usually required.
In real life though, once you end up enhancing it, you
probably could have just started with plain tomato sauce.
