I first had them at a nice restaurant 100 years ago
(from their dessert menu). They plated 3 of them,
then garnished with a light sprinkle of powdered
sugar. Not really necessary but it makes a nicer
presentation. For me at home, I didn't bother with that.

I'd been thinking about them for a couple of weeks so
that's what sounded appealing at the moment. One glance
at the two lemons on the counter did it.
