From the Oster bread machine manual:

Traditional White Bread
1 1/2 lb. loaf

1 C water
2 tbs. butter or margarine
1 and 1/2 tsp salt
3 C bread flour
2 tbs dry milk
1 tbs sugar
2 tsp active dry yeast (put in a pocket in flour separated from other
ingredients)

I use bread machine yeast

No. Every slice (except heels of course) from the loaf easily breaks
unless I cut it unusually thick.

I love a good meal! That's why I don't cook.
