Since cabinets are traditionally measured by the outside dimension ,
a nominal 30" cabinet would only be *28 1/2" inside ... however 32" wall
cabinets of this type are not uncommon , and would be 30 1/2" inside ,
which makes it possible (barely) by modifying the face frame .
* Assumes 3/4" side panels .
