Taxing groceries (it's 4% in Tennessee) is ridiculous. In Texas
they pay 7% + about 1.25% local/county sales tax. But no tax on
groceries except for some junk food (soda and juices under 50%
juice). And we still have no State income tax. The shortfall is
made up property taxes and hotel tax. Which is more fair, IMO.
