Smile, I used a lot of scents but for a very different reason. Blind
Dog. It helped her orient and no, they were not 'strong levels' at
all. Each room had it's own 'scent' (except none needed on kitchen or
bathrooms).
I did the same with the yard fences and she could tell where she was
from the faint scents (to us, if we could smell them at all) of
Sandlewood vs Frankinscense vs Lavendar vs Myrrhah. The porch door to
the kitchen? Grin, kept a bacon grease jar near it that we used to
grease the bird feeder pole (keeps squirrels endlessly amused to try
then slide back down and lick their paws).
