Spam is what the Koreans like to add when making this dish. They'll also add hot dog but I didn't. After a while, you add a block of instant ramen and American cheese and that's what I did.
I recently bought a Korean grill pan for the butane burner. It's pretty cool because there's a drain hole in the center that channels oil under a grill to the side. I haven't tried it yet so its effectiveness is untested. These things are made to fit the ubiquitous Asian butane burners.
