My wife and I got the 55+ plan from T-Mobile. I told her that if I'd have had a
phone with data and such, that when I got lost in Fajardo PR, I could have
easily found my way back to the AirBnB. If I'd have had a phone with me at
all, then I could have reassured my family that I wasn't dead from a car wreck,
or hadn't been mugged by crazy Puerto Ricans. I drove around for hours until
I finally found a cop. He spoke zero English, but I was capable of conveying
that I was lost. Finally, I made a gesture of flashing with my hand, and said,
"Rojo." The cop's face lit up, because there was only one flashing red light in
town, and he was able to give me directions in Spanish that I understood well
enough to get there, and from that light I knew my way back.
