episode where once a year each *mannequin* was allowed to come to life
for a short period of time, once a year.

One such mannequin was looking for a gold thimble for her mother; she
had seen it advertised in the store. She got on the elevator and it
took her to a floor that didn't exist. Empty except for a dusty glass
counterop and a saleswoman who sold her the thimble but kept telling her
it's time to come back now...
