Default Food for Today

Tonight dinner will be Spinach and cheese Ravioli with a sauce of
pesto thinned with a little cooking water. Vegetable will be fresh
asparagus. Dessert is sliced strawberries and bananas.

Currently Costco has the most amazing produce. You don't have to pick
through the asparagus to find nice thick clean unblemished asparagus.
It's ready-packed in a clear bag so there are no shriveled spots
around a rubber band.

Huge artichokes. Bigger than a soft ball. They are ginormous.

Great looking corn on the cob. I've never bought corn that I haven't
grown before but this stuff looks perfect. A friend says it is good,
so I will try it.

The strawberries are the biggest I have ever seen and so very red.
I bought a box and figured there would probably be some squished ones
and imperfect ones in there, I haven't found a bad one yet. And, they
are sweet.

I originally went to Costco to pick up 4 bags of potting soil for $9
each but they were all sold out. Apparently you need to get to the
store when it first opens to get the potting soil. I guess a lot of
people are getting into gardening these days. Another shipment is at
the warehouse in Salt Lake and should be at the store by today or
tomorrow.
I just phoned Costco and the potting soil is in. Off to Costco!
