Overheating non stick will kill them. My wife is notorious for doing
that. I once bought myself a very pricey non stick pan and told her she
could not use it. One night I was working the afternoon shift and she
used it. My son told her she was not supposed to use it but she went
ahead and over heated it, ruined the nonstick and warped the pan.
