I have seen a number of cooking shows like Triple D and You Gotta Eat
Here where cooks mush up big batches of stuff like meat loaf and potato
salad with their hands. Any time I have to fold in ingredients I use a
rubber spatula. The only things I have made in the last 10 years or so
that require folding are souffles, tapioca, mousse and brownies.
