I remember the cute 12 year old girl sitting on the table across from me describing it. 12 to 14 year old girls would have been the target audience for the Monkees. She didn't get to see Hendrix but she seemed to be really happy about the whole thing. It was a experience alright - just not that experience. I probably didn't know who Hendrix was at the time anyway.
