You've never purchased quality tires.... that's a very small price for
a quality tire... my wife recently purchased 5 Michelins for her
Toyota CJ; cost over $2,000... plus balancing and alignment.

I doubt Michelin has a plant in China. Japan manufactures motorcycle
and bicycle tires.
Michelin tires sold in the US are made in the US, in the Caroliners.
