My brother-in-laws had retreads on a truck they had. They were moving to a new house and pulling a U-Haul when a tire failed. They had a hitchhiker riding with them who claimed to be a songwriter. He wrote a song about it. That was nice of him. Along the way, one of their trucks would break down. Near as I can tell, a trip with those guys is always an adventure. It's the reason I don't ever want to take long trips with my brother-in-laws.
