I guess so did the young woman I caught stealing some of my lilacs.
When I confronted her she said she thought that they were on public
property. Yeah, right. They are along my side of the property line, so
anything on the other side would be my neighbour's not public. I guess
it helped explain my she had cut them from the far side so that she
would not likely be seen by the owners.
