You need to drop by an appliance store. All the new gas ranges are now
coming with electronic ignition for the top burners and the oven comes
with a glow bar. The glow bar only works if there is electricity to power
that solenoid that opens the gas valve and lights the gas.

You have an older model gas range. They can still be bought but are not
that readily available when you buy a new stove. Plus the new models
have many bells and whistles to entertain you while you cook.
