I have a vegan friend that I will humor and make meat free dishes like
vegan chili last time he came to visit to help repair a house we are
flipping. I can substitute meat and meat products, but I won't deal
with dairy, egg, and whatever else free -- that's too much hassle. Most
vegans I know are kind of 'prissy', but he's 'socially vegetarian' for
this reason, and apparently pizza tastes good... lol
