I knew a guy like that. It might not have been so bad if even small
amounts of alcohol turned him into a complete asshole. We used to go for
bicycle rides together and he would bring some cold beers to drink along
the way or want to stop at a bar. One time I met him in a parking lot
at 8 am on a Sunday morning to ride the Niagara Parkway bike trail. He
was sitting there sipping on a beer.

He eventually quit drinking and started nagging at me to give up
alcohol. He was worse than an ex smoker.
