I got a lot luckier inviting a lady friend for cocktails and they were
more likely to want to bring a lady friend rather than arrive alone.
That was fine with me, spending the evening with two ladies was better
than none.
Sometimes I had a regular lady date that would rather have me visit at
her house. She'd need to stay home to watch over her elderly bed
ridden mom, never bothered me that Anna Mae's mom was in the back
bedroom.
